 Every dream of an artist is to have fame,  flashy cars,  wears, girls etc.  But when it comes to becoming an independent Artist it calls for alot of determination and dedication. 
NOTE: No  top artist started big, they all started small building their career gradually through consistency and determination.

Here some attributes that can help you achieve your dreams:
1. Dedication:  Some artist do music for fun while some do commercial music.. Ask yourself why am I doing music?  Be dedicated to it.  Put your all into like it means your life.

2. Promotion/Sponsorship: through empirical study some artist hardly sponsor their work while some artist drop a song share to their friends and expect to wake up one morning and your song is bomb in the Music Industry. NO it doesn't work that way, get your songs on online stores, blogs social media platforms, to show promoters and all.

3. Consistency: this is one of the most important attributes every artist must possess, it helps grow your fan base. If you want to remain at the top take this very serious. if you take a look on our world today they are alot of artist that have been forgotten in  not that they are dead but many couldn't keep up the pace in the Music Industry.

4. Be unique: More often you hear commendations like "he raps like MI Agbag " He raps like Ycee" and all that be unique think outside the box create your own style.
